AWA Alphaworld Airlines is a virtual airline compagny based on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 with HUB and virtual headquater in Las Vegas, USA. (KLAX) airport.
Background story (Fictional) : After the citizen payment was raised to US$1200 at year (US$100 at month) and world server licens was raised to US$100 each 1X1 cord in a world (P-40 world = US$4000 at year) Activeworlds.com Inc. stocks on the US stockmarked had raised skyhigh and the the CEO staff made a huge profit, that lead Activeworlds.com Inc abel to muve there business and headquater to Las Vegas and open the world famus AW Casino & Hotel on the main street of Las Vegas, The Strip.
AWA Alphaworld Airlines main goal is to service Activeworlds.com Inc Headquater in Las Vegas with VIP flights and bring citizen from AW that live all round the world to a happy weekend in AW Casino & Bingo Hotel . VIP citizen from AW get a free weekend in the President Suite.
AWA was foundet 20.April 2002 in the american 3D multiuser community Activeworlds, formerly known as Alphaworld, that was the worlds first 3D multiuser community started in erly summer 1995 by citizen Protagonist. The idear behind AWA is that citizen of Activeworlds that use FS2002, could fly multiuser in FS2002 from a virtual headquater in Activeworlds, where the virtual pilots could meet in a 3D online community that runs in real-time, to hold AWA pilots meetings and plan flights.
AWA headquater in Activeworlds is in the danish public building P-40 world called : Danmark. To get there, your need to download the free Activeworlds Browsere from Activeworlds and teleport to Danmark world. Look for a teleport picture sign with the AWA logo on Danmark Ground Zero. Click the sign and get teleported to the AWA Headquater.
AWA is NOT related with Activeworlds anyway. AWA only use FS2002 and activeworlds as an base for the virtual operations of AWA flights and business.
AWA Alphaworld Airlines website is under construktions, and AWA looks for a talented aircraft repainter that would like to paint some Boeing airlines like B747, B777, B767, B737, B727,B717 in the AWA colors and logo. The payment is in real US$. The AWA colors is close to the AA American Airlines colors. American Airlines have headquater in (DFW) and had kindly borrow AWA an old Boeing 777-300 in AA colors, so the AWA flights can start ;-). The AWA American Airline Boeing 777-300 that AA kindly had borrow to AWA :-) Can be download from this site as a full packet with a B777 soundset, default panel and model with working virtual cockpit. AWA Pilots are free to select any flightnumber from the AWA Flight Schedule of own choise. If any freeware scenery is aviabel on the destinations it will have a link to the .zip file. All new pilots must start with the two flights AWA0001 and AWA0002. AWA pilots are most welcome to suggest own flights. It would be nice to have a flight to the main airport of the home country of every AWA pilots.
Use FS2002 GPS IFR flightplan with ATC and real time wheather and the right time settings and hard settings on aircraft on every AWA flights if possibel. No timespeed + setup on flights should be done. After the flight, sendt an email to the CEO with AWA Pilot number, AWA Flight number and some notes from the flight to the pilot logbook.
AWA Alphaworld Airlines plan to use SquawBox and fly online on VATSIM. AWA had join VATSIM as an virtual airlines partner with callname : AWA.
