Pilots
The world's most extensive route network.
Becoming
a commercial pilot is one of the most exciting and challenging careers you can
choose. It's about far more than traditional aviation skills, important though
these are. From the flight deck of a Virtual Kuwait Airways aircraft, you will
have the opportunity to develop and utilise the same people management, customer
service and business skills important to any successful organisation.
It's one reason why so many of the best pilots and potential pilots choose Virtual Kuwait Airways. Another is the sheer variety available. With over 60 destinations and a huge range of aircraft - everything from the Boeing 777-200 to the Airbus A-319/320 - we can help take your career in any direction.
The main way you can join us as a pilot is by completing the application form in the Join us section or by emailing virtkuwait@jerusalen.com

Hub Manager
The People Department
In
the People Department, we're aware that the way people in Virtual Kuwait Airways
behave towards each other has a direct impact on the way they behave towards our
customers. So engendering an environment where everyone is treated with respect,
courtesy and the utmost professionalism is one of our highest priorities.
We also know that the way people feel about the company they work for has a big influence on the levels of motivation they apply to their individual role. Working towards ensuring good staff morale is therefore vital - and an activity that will be a consistently high priority in the years ahead.
As a team, our role is to ensure the business has the right people with the right skills to help us achieve our corporate goals. But the unique challenges that this brief involves illustrates what makes the airline business unlike any other. Think about how large our operations are - the varied locations around the world, the vast numbers of people employed in centres like Kuwait City and other hubs - and you begin to realise the size of the task. We need to ensure that everyone operates as part of a team with a clear management structure to lead and support them.
And in an industry as competitive and susceptible to change as this, we have a constantly evolving range of issues to address. At the moment, we're concerned with responding to the need to reduce airline capacity for the first time in the industry's history. We're putting a framework in place to assess and develop skills consistently right across the business. We're developing our relationships with Trade Unions, aiming for maximum co-operation and openness.
